“The credit here goes to my partner Mark Friedman who was the lead on this project.  1600 H was a terrific, well conceived project just built at the wrong time in the economic cycle.  The play here was value added acquisition of a strategic property.  We were fortunate enough to purchase the asset from a lender at a below-replacement cost price.  Given its proximity to our other mixed-use residential projects in that neighborhood, 1600 H Lofts was a logical addition to our urban portfolio.”
